At present, the authentic, but simplified "Lola" recipes, are available for you. The first is a Cruz staple: Castilian Rice. No meal is consummate without it!
A Lola Cruz Recipie #one Castilian Rice
Too called Sopa de Arroz, this dish can be made with fresh onions, garlic, and tomatoes, or you tin can do information technology the simplified "Lola" way.
Ingredients
- 2 to 4 Tablespoons oil
- 1 cup Long Grain white rice
- One 6-oz can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic pulverisation
- one/2 tsp. onion pulverisation
- (the seasoning Adobo can exist substituted for the garlic and onion)
- 1 tsp. salt, to sense of taste
- 2 cups h2o or craven broth
Directions
- Oestrus oil in heavy saucepan.
- Add together rice and brown.
- Stir in iii/4 of the tin can of tomato sauce (add together more if you prefer moist rice, less if you lot adopt it less tomatoey and drier).
- Add h2o (or goop), garlic and onion pulverisation, and salt.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce oestrus and simmer approximately 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
