The W Hollywood Library building was congenital and is owned past the City of West Hollywood, and opened on October one, 2011. The Library edifice hosts a variety of programming and exhibitions.

Friends of the Due west Hollywood Library Bookstore

The Friends of the Library Bookstore is operated by the Friends of the West Hollywood Library, which raises funds to back up programming at the Library. More info hither

Arts and Cultural Programming at the Library

The West Hollywood Library campus provides opportunities for Cultural Programs and displays within the public areas of the West Hollywood Library Facility. Organizations and individuals are welcome to utilise for sponsorship. Proposals are reviewed by an inter-bureau commission on a quarterly ground. Please note that the Library receives far more requests for programming than it is able to adapt.

Cultural Programming

Public Art

In that location are two deputed public artworks, 'Peace, Liberty, and Creativity' (2011) by Shepard Fairey and 'Platanus bibliotechalis' (2011) past David Wiseman as role of the Metropolis'south Percent for Art initiative. Also associated with the Library are the Art in the Streets murals by Kenny Scharf and RETNA  that adorn the sides of the next Parking Construction and were installed as office of MOCA'south Art in the Streets exhibition.

There are two artworks on long term loan at the library: Heart Sculpture by Mr. Brainwash and Westward Hollywood Park by Ramiro Gomez.

Room Use / Rentals at the Library

Study Room Study Rooms (up to 6 people) - These rooms are available for any blazon of meeting, including private studying and can seat upward to 6 people. One study room can be reserved 1 calendar week in advance by contacting the Library's Data Desk, and two others tin can be used on a first-come, first-served basis. For the best chance of reserving a room, show upward when the Library starting time opens in the morning. Weho Room

West Hollywood Room (up to 10 people) - The Due west Hollywood Room may be reserved past non-profit groups for modest, non-recurring meetings during normal Library business hours upwards to one calendar month in accelerate. The room is located on the uppermost level of the Library and seats up to 10 people. For more information or to reserve, please phone call the library at 310-652-5340.

Classroom 2 Co mmunity Meeting Room (fits upward to 80 people)
